Lots of new music around at the moment, so I thought I'd do a quick round up for you.
Firstly, the Black Eyed Peas are back. This song is pretty weird, but after a couple of listens I was really getting into it. See what you think...
Next up, after covering "Round Round" - Flo Rida has decided to take the classic Blue "Da ba dee" by Eifel 65 and turn it into a rap-fest. It features Wynter and I think this song could be one of the first big summer songs.
Calvin Harris has come back with an awesome new single - here it is;
Finally for today, Wale featuring Lady Gaga. Wale is a rapper who has done a tonne of work with Mark Ronson and featured on the Daniel Merriweather track "Changes".

FOAM PARTY
If you have never been to a foam party at Studio 41, some would argue that you've never REALLY been out in Canterbury.
HERE'S SOME TIPS....
1) Bring a plastic lunch bag (or something similar) you can put your phone/wallet in. That way - voila - you can party in the foam and the stuff in your pockets will be waterproof and won't get wrecked.
2) Remember to wear stuff that isn't going to get ruined. The foam is like taking something out in the rain - so anything suede or leather could go funny.
3) We have no dress code - so feel free to come in shorts/t-shirt (or just generally not your best threads)
4) Leave big hoopy earings et al at home as we always find loads of bangles on the floor when we're cleaning up at the end.
5) Foam parties are really popular, so please arrive early!
The front end will be foam free, so anyone who loves their hair THAT much doesn't have to get covered. The stage in the main room is usually alright too. So in other words, you can avoid it.
Please remember, this isn't like most clubs who promise a foam party and deliver a minuscule amount in the corner. this is the REAL DEAL!
This weekend is 999 NIGHT!
I can't even remember the last time we did a doctors and nurses style night. So please make some effort as there will be some goodie bags for those who are the best dressed!
Possibilities are endless, so have a think if you want to come as a naughty nurse, a fiesty fireman, a pretty policewoman or a dishy doctor.
See you this Saturday!
Today is the day Barbie celebrates her 50th Birthday. Hasn't she aged gracefully?
To celebrate, at Girls And boYs, we want to answer the question.... who really IS better? Actionman? Or Barbie?
Dress up as one or the other... fantastic giveaways to those who look the business.
Plus all the usual Saturday night GIrls And boYs fun.
Big kisses, and to Saturday! xxxxx
Afternoon!
A quick FAQ for the Traffic Light Party on Saturday Night.
Just to say there will be NO GUESTLIST. It didn't really work that well last week. Sorry about that.
Lots of great Valentines stuff to giveaway at the weekend. Plus if you're single; it could be your chance to meet that special Girl or boY just in time! It's a traffic light party. So it's red if you're taken. Amber if you're persuadable. Green if you're free and single.
Be great if you could wear the appropriate colour, but there will be stickers you can get if you need them to let everyone else know your status.
Please turn up early to avoid disappointment.
Anything else you need to know, please e-mail stephen@girlsandboys.co.uk

Hello again!
Thanks for all the nice e-mails from last Saturday. If you weren't there - we sorted things out just in time to open the main room, following on from our power supply issues.
Well it never rains but it pours (or snows) I've now been made aware of some problems between Studio 41 and Canterbury City Council regarding licensing. These are a bit like the arrangements the nightclub makes to the council about how the premises are run.
Over the last year in particular, as you have seen, the popularity of Girls And boYs has increased. However, the authorities have raised concerns about safety - because more and more people want to come into the club. Studio 41 have always been very responsible operators, so have carried out a risk assessment and have decided to complete further safety work to ensure that everyone could get out in the event of an emergency. This is going to happen over the next two weeks (although you know what builders are like!).
Because of these building works, the number of people allowed into the club will be lower than normal until all the additional safety systems have been put in place.
I've been thinking about this for most of the week. I really want the night to go ahead as planned. So this week, Girls And boYs will be by invi-gay-tion only (invitation only, geddit?).
If you want to party at the Glitter Night on Saturday - just reply back to me via. Facebook with a list containing your name and the name of your friends who are coming; Otherwise, you may not be able to get in on Saturday.
If you're on the list, you'll get in free; And I can confirm that both rooms will be open as usual.
So
1) Reply to this Facebook with your name and the list of friends who are coming by 11pm Friday night.
2) I'll reply back to tell you you're on the list.
3) Turn up at Studio 41 before 10.15pm to get your wristband, otherwise, your place goes to someone else who has just turned up on the night.
This is first come first served, so if I don't reply then I'm really sorry but it means you and your mates have not made it onto the list.
The advantage of this is that you can make arrangements to come to the club and be guaranteed entry - as long as you get there by 10.15pm. No massive lines either at the bar or outside. Simply the usual great atmosphere and Saturday night fun.
Just to make it clear this is nothing to do with Girls And boYs itself - this is between Studio 41 and Canterbury City Council. However, I know how hard the team there are working to get this sorted so things can return to normal ASAP. We are talking days rather than months, so it's no drama! I just wanted to let you all know first.
Up for Saturday, then? Reply now!
Thanks,
- Stephen xx
